Difference

More information about the difference

SeoPageOptimizer makes a statistical analysis of the web pages that score highest in Google for a search with the keyword you have indicated. For every tag (title, meta description, headers, text in the body, etc.) the programme calculates the ideal average.

The web page that you have provided will then be analysed for the same tags.

The difference between the ideal average and the high scoring web page, on the one hand, and the figure for your website, on the other, will determine the extent to which your website deviates from the ideal average. This difference is calculated for every aspect (wordcount, keyword count, synonym count, prominence) of every tag.

The lower the difference figure, the better your web page will be assessed by Google for this specific element. You must then modify your web page so that the difference is reduced as much as possible.

Example:

SEO Page Optimizer - example difference

Tag: body (+bold)

Keyword value: the difference between the ideal average and the landing page is -2.58. This figure can be increased by using the keyword 'search engine optimsation' two times less and the word 'optimisation' one time less in the web page text. The difference then becomes 0.07 which is about the lowest possible.

Related word value: the difference between the ideal average and the landing page is -7.45. There are too many related words in the text. If, for example the word 'SEO' is used three times less and the word 'optimization' is used four times less, the difference would already go down to 0.6. Another option for reducing the difference, is to replace a few related keywords with a low value by related words with a high value.
