More information about the title tag

Title tags arevisible for human visitors and for search engines. So make sure that they (at least) contain the most important keywords that are relevant for the web page content.
Search engines such as Google use the text in the title tag as a link in the search results. The relevant keywords that form part of the search task are also given in bold and this is an extra stimulus for human visitors to click on the link.
If the text in the title tag is too long, Google will only show some of it. So make sure that the title tag is not too long, i.e. around 50 characters is enough.
It is great if the text of the title tag is also a call-to-action, a call for human visitors to take action.
